Machine washable was the selling point for us, and it holds up perfectly after three washes already. The quilted texture is soft enough for my little one to nap on between play sessions, yet sturdy when she rolls around.
The baby spit up twice during playtime and I just tossed this whole mat in the washer—came out looking brand new with zero pilling. My little one stays on it for twice as long as she does on the blanket we used before, and I don't worry about what she's mouthing since it's non-toxic.
The quilted texture gives just enough cushion for my little one during tummy time, and the fact that the whole thing goes straight into the washing machine is a lifesaver. It’s held up beautifully through daily play and cleanup—soft, sturdy, and totally worth it.
