My kids fight over who gets to peel the shrimp first every single time we pull this out for their play kitchen. The pieces are chunky enough for small hands but still feel realistic, and the oyster actually opens and closes which is a nice touch for teaching them about seafood prep.
The oyster shells actually hold together and pop open with satisfying resistance, which keeps my three-year-old engaged for a solid twenty minutes. The shrimp pieces peel apart cleanly, so I don’t have to hover and fix broken bits every two seconds.
