The letters have a nice weight to them, not flimsy at all, and my son loves sorting through all 31 pieces to find his favorites. It’s been great for practicing the sounds out loud, and the wooden finish feels really smooth and safe for little hands.
My toddler grabbed the vowels first and started making up sounds, which was exactly what I hoped for. The extra 5 vowels in the set make it easy to spell simple words like "cat" and "dog" right away, and the letters are sturdy enough for daily play.
Our toddler is obsessed with arranging these on the floor to spell out her name. Having the extra set of vowels included is a thoughtful touch, and the wood finish feels smooth and safe for little hands. The letters have held up well to daily play for the past couple of months.
